Granzin’s Meat Market Opens 1981

When Sonny and Tona Granzin purchased a meat processing shop in New Braunfels in 1981, they started a family tradition. With years of experience in raising cattle and working in meat markets, they used their family ranch as collateral to buy the business. Together with their three sons, Gary, Mark and Michael, they established Granzin’s as a place where old-fashioned quality and service were served up daily.

Today, the third generation of Granzins is helping to run the business, which has expanded into locations in Seguin and Pleasanton. A fourth location is coming soon to the Canyon Lake area.

Throughout decades of sourcing and processing quality meat, making our own sausage and other specialties, and providing the fixings for countless memorable meals, Granzin’s has become more than a family business. It’s a tradition for the families we’ve served over the years.

New Location Opening 2025

Granzins Meat Market will be opening our fourth location early next year. We are very excited and can’t wait to offer the highest quality service, meat selections and products our customers have become accustomed to. Our new location will be located at 3516 FM 306 in New Braunfels. We will be posting updates on our social media platforms so be sure to follow us for more info.
